The Domaine de la Xavolière
The estate is located 10 km from Grasse, the world capital of perfume, at an altitude of 600 metres. The nights are cool and the days pleasantly warm. We can breathe the thousand aromes of the scented plants of Provence. The lights, the park of the domain, the views on the pre-Alps contribute to create a magical stay.
The estate itself is located three kilometres from the village of Cabris (exceptional panorama from Nice to Saint-Tropez) and ten kilometres from the village of Saint-Césaire sur Siagne.
It will take you 30 minutes to get to Cannes and 45 minutes to Nice airport.
The estate, in the heart of nature, is also very close to the Côte d'Azur so you can easily discover its various gastronomic, cultural and sports activities.
The property’s common areas include a living room equipped with a kitchen and a fireplace, a small lounge, two terraces, a heated swimming pool, a lit « pétanque » court and a private garden and pine forest.
The guest house offers, on the first floor, four bedrooms with king size or queen size bed, en suite bathroom with a walk in shower, toilet, television and refrigerator. A delicious breakfast will be served on the terrace or by the fireplace depending on the season. The Domaine de la Xavolière is a perfect escape to enjoy the Mediterranean spirit and an invitation for pure relaxation.
To access the newly renovated property, you will have to travel on a dirt road (1.5 km long) with a panoramic view of the surrounding mountains.
We chose to preserve noble and ancient materials such as old stone walls and terracotta tiles on all the floors. The furnitures and objects have been selected carefully to draw you into a different world. The antique Spanish doors open onto warm, ancient handmade tiled floors.
The rooms, ranging in size from twenty to thirty square metres, are decorated in mineral colours inspired by nature. All the bathrooms, which are semi-open to the rooms, have been redesigned in a Mediterranean style. Each bathroom has a spacious walk-in shower with Zellige green, white and grey tiles.
From the estate's fenced park you can also harness the great outdoors and access many hiking trails (GR 51).
Electric bikes are available on request to discover the surrounding villages.
Discover in the pre-Alps mountains the typical scents of the plants of the Provence region: oaks, pines, junipers, cypresses, olive trees, lavender, savory, thyme, lime, acacia, genet or broom, rosemary and other Mediterranean species.
To privatise the entire estate in order to host special events such as weddings or corporate seminars, you will have to make an inquiry at least 3 months in advance.
